New Schools' Bar Exam Pass Rates

The statistics for the July 2017 Texas bar exam were released yesterday, and the American Bar Association’s newest provisionally approved law school, the University of North Texas College of Law in Dallas, posted a first-time pass rate of 59%.

Since the July 2012 bar exam, six new law schools have had their inaugural classes sit for the bar exam.

Here’s a summary of those results:

July 2017 Bar Exam (Texas) UNT Dallas College of Law – 59% July 2016 Bar Exam (Indiana)

Indiana Tech School of Law (closed) – 17%

July 2015 Bar Exam (Idaho) Concordia University College of Law – 56%

July 2014 Bar Exam (Tennessee) Belmont University College of Law – 71%

July 2013 Bar Exam (Tennessee) Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law – 81%

July 2012 Bar Exam (California) University of California, Irvine School of Law – 90%
