Free (yes, free!) MPRE Courses

With the next administration of the Multistate Professional Responsibility (MPRE) Exam a few months months away, it’s not too early to think about how you’re going to prepare for the exam. (Don’t follow the misinformed advice that you only need two weekends to prepare for the MPRE. Your performance on the MPRE is typically an early (and from my experience, a good) indicator of your future performance on the Multistate Bar Exam (MBE).)

Many commercial bar review companies give away their MPRE programs—including questions, outlines, and online lectures—for FREE as a “loss leader” in hopes that you will sign up for their full-service bar review course.

If you haven’t already signed up for a full-service bar review course, use your preparation for the MPRE as an opportunity to try out a review course or two that you might be considering before you invest a grand or more for a full-service course.
