The Test-Anxiety Loop, and How to Break It

Here's a great article published in the National Conference of Bar Examiners' recent edition of "Bar Examiner" that discusses the test-anxiety loop and how to break it. The article, "Breaking the Test-Anxiety Loop: Using Self-Regulated Learning to Improve Bar Exam Performance," is a must-read for anyone taking the bar exam.


According to the article, anxiety accounts for an estimated 5% of variance in scores on professional examinations: "Even small negative effects of test anxiety on bar exam scores can have significant life consequences for examinees."
